No evidence supports the effectiveness of ‘cancer drugs’ promoted by Mel Gibson


Cancer is the second leading cause of death in both Europe and Hungary. While nearly 10 million people worldwide die from the disease every year, a video clip from a podcast in which American actor Mel Gibson claims that several of his friends have beaten cancer with the help of ivermectin, fenbendazole, chlorine dioxide, and methylene blue has gone viral on social media. However, experts interviewed by AFP state that these substances do not cure cancer, and some may even be harmful.
