Anthony Fauci Has Not Been Charged With Negligent Homicide in New Zealand

Anthony Fauci, the American immunologist who served on the White House Coronavirus Task Force and later as chief medical advisor to former President Joe Biden, has been the target of numerous false claims on social media since the pandemic. Most recently, New Zealand police had to refute posts alleging that he had been charged with hundreds of thousands of counts of negligent homicide related to COVID-19 vaccines. Authorities called the claims “completely inaccurate.” The circulating post also falsely states that 14 countries have issued international arrest warrants for Fauci. However, as of May 9, 2025, the American immunologist does not appear on Interpol’s wanted list, and no country has filed charges against him.
