April 17, 2026, 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Budapest, Godot Gallery - Bartók Béla út 11-13.

  • How should artificial intelligence be integrated into everyday school practice?
  • How can technology become an opportunity rather than a risk for both students and teachers?
  • How can educators guide students in using AI responsibly - and what dilemmas do they face in their daily work?

We will explore these questions and more during a workshop held alongside the InfoGrund Teacher of the Year award ceremony. Together with expert guests and fellow educators, we will reflect on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education.

At the beginning of the event, we will also present the InfoGrund Teacher Award associated with the InfoGrund teacher training program, organized by the Idea Foundation, to the teacher who has made the most significant contribution to advancing critical media literacy in schools during the 2024-2025 school year.

Program:

17:00–17:30 – Award Ceremony

17:30–19:00 – Workshop on the psychological impact of AI - particularly deepfake videos - their social-psychological background, and ways to guide students’ use of AI in constructive directions. A space for sharing thoughts, opinions, and dilemmas within the InfoGrund teacher community.

Expert panelists: Péter Krekó (social psychologist, director of Political Capital), Borbála Timár (media teacher and media education expert, member of the Idea Foundation), and a surprise panelist to be revealed during the event.

Event location: Budapest, Godot Gallery - 1111 Bartók Béla út 11-13. The Godot Gallery offers a fitting venue for the celebration with its current exhibition of Imre Bukta’s paintings, which can be viewed both before and after the event.

Participation in the event is free, but registration is required. Please submit your registration via the form available at this link by April 14, 2026!
