InfoGrund Teacher Training Program in the Digital World – In-person Training in Budapest

The Idea Foundation organized the in-person phase of the InfoGrund Teacher Training Program in the Digital World on November 29–30, 2025, in Budapest, as part of the program’s accredited six-month training program (October 2025 – May 2026).

The accredited six-month teacher training program aims to prepare teachers to develop their students' awareness and filtering skills when consuming information. Embedded in a framework of critical thinking, the training program expands students' knowledge so that they can more confidently recognize false and misleading online content and recognize reliable, quality news.

The teachers participated actively and with interest in the classroom training. The training took place in a good atmosphere, and based on the teachers' feedback, the e-learning material and classroom training adequately prepared them to teach the curriculum package in school.

We have selected some of their feedback:

"I felt very comfortable, mainly thanks to the trainers. They created an open, friendly atmosphere, which was framed by serious professional knowledge. This training shed light on new things and reminded me of things I learned a long time ago, which I have already applied in my classes this week. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to participate in this course. Thank you very much!"

"Thank you for your professionalism, for 'breathing together' and 'vibrating together'."

"It was a little dense/intense, but I gained some very useful knowledge. The training took place in a good atmosphere."
